1.0.0 - Patch Notes
🛠️ Hello, Brawlers!
This one looks small, but it’s the biggest update we’ve ever made. Brawls has been rebuilt from the ground up on a brand new server, the same one that powers Fracture.
Everything should feel like the Brawls you know. Your levels, coins, medals, mastery, cosmetics, friends and settings are all there.
🔼 Brawls now supports Minecraft 1.21.11 - 26.3.
⚔️ Gameplay
- Games now load much faster
- Invisible players are now fully invisible in every game: no more floating armour or held items
- Armour you are given in Dodgebolt, Rise: Capture and Rocket Spleef can no longer be taken off
- A microphone badge now shows next to players who are talking in voice chat
- One Shot: removed the “Switch to Empty Slot on Invisibility” setting, as invisibility now hides you completely
🏅 Medals
Some medals could never be earned. They can now!
- Dodgebolt: Reverse Sweep and Total Annihilation
- Rocket Spleef: Drone now matches its description: never be on the ground for more than 2 seconds at a time
- Spleef: snowball hits are now counted, so Sharp Spammer can be completed
🌀 Hub
- Random Game now queues you for every game at once and puts you in the first match found, with a +5% XP boost
- New look for the hub leaderboards
- A party that is too big for a game is now told when it tries to queue, not after
🧩 Fixes
- Fixed missing characters showing in custom fonts
- Fixed the hub warning and teleport never happening at the end of Rise and Rise: Capture
- Fixed the medal overview opening twice at the end of One Shot
- Fixed every player being given a round win in One Shot when nobody scored
- Fixed rejoining a Rise: Capture round sending you to the middle of nowhere
- Fixed the “Leave Spectator” button that did nothing (it’s gone)
- Fixed a failed download message when music is turned off
Found something that feels different from before? Tell us on Discord, it’s probably a bug.
Happy Brawling!
